We are looking for an experienced and proactive Care Supervisor to join our Norwich branch. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about care quality and capable of managing staff, service users, and operational compliance efficiently.
Role Overview
The Care Supervisor plays a crucial leadership role in ensuring our clients receive the best possible care and support. You will oversee care delivery, manage rotas, monitor service quality, and maintain compliance with CQC standards and Verity Healthcare policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Accept and manage new care packages, assigning care workers appropriately to clients.
- Produce accurate staff rotas and schedules to ensure consistent coverage.
- Ensure service user care plans and care worker files are complete, current, and compliant.
- Monitor care delivery using electronic systems and ensure punctuality and attendance.
- Conduct regular service user visits, risk assessments, and quality checks.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary partners.
- Support HR and recruitment processes for hiring new care workers.
- Supervise, mentor, and appraise care staff, ensuring continuous professional growth.
- Represent the company at meetings with commissioners and local authorities.
- Maintain full compliance with CQC standards, ensuring service excellence at all times.

Essential Skills & Experience
- At least one year’s experience as a Care Supervisor or Coordinator in a domiciliary care company or agency.
- Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (QCF) or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and care compliance standards.
- Competent with rota planning and care management software systems.
- Full UK driving licence (mandatory).
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with Care Planner or similar electronic scheduling software.
- Previous experience as a care worker or field care supervisor.
- Experience supporting CQC inspection preparation.
