Home care in Cornwall

Delivering Compassionate, Personalized Home Care in Cornwall

Verity Healthcare Cornwall is located in the heart of the county in the bustling City of Truro.

Cornwall is a small county that is much bigger of heart and here at Verity we pride ourselves on being big of heart and even greater of care.

Our team have experience in providing varied support to the local community throughout the county. We offer support to people living at home who need that little extra hand to manage their everyday tasks, this may include domestic support, shopping, personal care, meal preparation and much more.

High-quality home care

Our staff are known to be friendly and compassionate, they receive wonderful compliments from our customers. Such as from Anna who was  immensely grateful that the carer found time to support with washing Anna’s hair. Just one of those fiddly tasks that many people like a little hand to achieve.

We work extensively with individuals who require assistance to manage their daily needs due to struggles with either physical or mental health. Much of our visit will be dedicated to companionship or social activities to access the local community. Along with our customers  our care team are fortunate to be able to enjoy the beautiful Cornwall that surrounds us.

Whether you are here for a week or wanting support for much longer, we will be happy to help.

Our Services

24HOUR LIVE-IN CARE

We understand that it is sometimes emotionally and financially difficult to put your parents or loved ones in residential care home. We’re able provide one-to-one care for you and your loved ones, which is not possible to receive in residential homes where staff to client ratios are high. This means that you can trust that the care you or your loved one receives high quality day and night care completely tailored to the exact needs.

PALLIATIVE CARE

At Verity Healthcare we offer palliative care which is given to improve the quality of life of patients who have a serious or life-threatening disease. Palliative care is an approach to care that we address the person as a whole, not just their disease. The goal is to prevent or treat, as early as possible, the symptoms and side effects of the disease and its treatment, in addition to any related psychological, social, and spiritual problems.

NURSING CARE

Nursing care in a Verity Healthcare setting involves professional medical care provided to patients in their own homes. This type of care is essential for several reasons, primarily focusing on improving the quality of life, ensuring medical needs are met, and offering convenience and personalized care to our patients.

FACILITATION OF SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Engaging in social activities is vital for mental and emotional health. Caregivers play a key role in facilitating these activities, encouraging clients to stay active and socially connected.

VISITING CARE

If you’re looking for long-term assistance such as a full-time live-in carer or nurses for around the clock care or for a carer to attend short visit, we’re able to help. Individuals can choose the times and how long they want the services for. We maintain skilled and highly qualified staff for roles that require a variety of specialized clinical needs as well as personal care needs.

CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE CARE

Caring for children, adolescents and young people can be difficult but when they are not feeling well, this makes life stressful and daunting. However, we are here to put the right support and care in place, to help you, your child and your family to live happily. Our support could make all the difference. Our highly trained and skilled support and care workers would provide practical assistance to meet a range of social and developmental needs.

COMPANIONSHIP

We offer care to individuals who may be at risk of loneliness or who have been experiencing loneliness. Sometimes care isn’t always medical, but it is also meant to help you live the life you want. One of our team members will visit your home and spend time with you providing company and emotional support. Our concept emphasizes the importance of human connection and interaction in maintaining and improving overall health and well-being.

ERRANDS

Helping clients with errands involves tasks that they might find challenging due to physical limitations, cognitive issues, or lack of transportation. Caregivers provide support to ensure that these tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
