We are seeking Domiciliary Care Workers in the Milton and wider Cambridgeshire area who share our values of kindness, accountability, excellence, and passion. You will play an important role in supporting clients to live fulfilling, independent lives — while receiving full support and training from our experienced care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to clients with a range of needs, illnesses, and disabilities.
- Assist clients with toileting, continence management, and personal hygiene.
- Help clients get up in the morning and prepare for bed in the evening.
- Support with medication according to agreed levels and care plans.
- Keep accurate and detailed records of all care activities and medication given.
- Prepare meals and drinks that meet clients’ dietary, cultural, and personal preferences.
- Carry out light domestic tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and general household duties.
- Promote and follow all health and safety guidelines, reporting any concerns to the Field Care Supervisor.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with clients and their families through empathy and active listening.
Skills and Experience
- Skilled in assisting with personal care while maintaining dignity and respect.
- Experience in safe medication support and health monitoring.
- Knowledge of safe moving and handling using hoists and mobility aids.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Accurate record-keeping and professional confidentiality.
- Previous care experience preferred but not essential — full training provided.
