We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Care Coordinator to join our growing branch in Keswick. This is a key position in the company, ensuring smooth operations, quality assurance, and excellent service delivery to our clients and carers alike.

Role Overview

The Care Coordinator is responsible for managing care schedules, supporting care staff, and maintaining service quality across all operations. The role requires someone who can balance administrative precision with strong interpersonal skills, ensuring both carers and clients receive the support they need.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accept new care packages and assign care workers appropriately based on skills and availability.
  • Prepare and manage staff rotas to ensure continuity of care and coverage.
  • Ensure service users’ care plans and records are complete, up-to-date, and compliant.
  • Monitor visit schedules and punctuality using electronic monitoring systems.
  • Arrange care reviews and conduct risk assessments in coordination with field supervisors.
  • Undertake regular service user calls and quality monitoring visits.
  • Maintain communication with clients, families, and commissioning bodies.
  • Support HR in recruiting, onboarding, and supervising care workers.
  • Represent the company in meetings with local authorities and healthcare partners.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and uphold company care standards.

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum of one year’s experience as a Care Coordinator within a domiciliary care company or agency.
  • Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (QCF) or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience using Care Planner or similar scheduling software (preferred).
  • Previous experience as a care worker (advantageous).
  • Full UK driving licence (mandatory).
