We are looking for a passionate and experienced Care Supervisor to help oversee care delivery, ensure compliance with CQC standards, and provide outstanding support to both clients and care workers. This is a fantastic role for someone ready to take the next step in their domiciliary care career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accept care packages and allocate care workers appropriately to ensure continuity of care.
  • Prepare and manage care worker rotas effectively.
  • Ensure care plans and care worker files are accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Monitor care worker attendance and punctuality using electronic systems.
  • Arrange care reviews and risk assessments alongside field supervisors.
  • Conduct telephone monitoring, service user visits, and quality checks.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, families, local authorities, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support the HR team with recruiting, onboarding, and supervising care workers.
  • Conduct supervisions and appraisals for care staff to maintain high standards of performance.
  • Represent the company in meetings with commissioners, officials, and regulatory bodies.
  • Attend ongoing training and development sessions to maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practice.
  • Ensure compliance with all CQC standards and internal company policies.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of one year’s experience as a Care Supervisor, Team Leader, or Senior Carer in a domiciliary care company.
  • Alternatively, extensive experience as a Care Worker within the domiciliary care sector.
  • Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (QCF) or equivalent qualification.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with Care Planner or other electronic care management software.
  • Previous experience in a Care Coordinator or Field Care Supervisor role.
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance standards.
