We work with local authorities, the NHS, CCGs, private hospitals, and private clients. We provide a wide range of care services to help our clients maintain their independence in their homes.

Verity Healthcare Limited is looking for passionate and caring healthcare assistants to join our enthusiastic team of domiciliary carers. We are recruiting care assistants who have the right values — kindness, accountability, excellence, and passion — and exhibit a positive attitude in providing quality care and support for less able individuals. You must be willing to develop yourself and your skills.

Domiciliary Care Workers’ Duties

• Provide personal care and support to clients with a wide range of needs, illnesses, and disabilities.
• Assist clients with toileting, continence management, and personal hygiene.
• Help clients get up in the morning and go to bed at night.
• Support clients with their medication as detailed in their Medication Care Needs Assessment.
• Maintain detailed, accurate records of care and medication support.
• Prepare food and drinks considering nutritional and cultural requirements.
• Carry out light household duties, including laundry and housework, as detailed in the care plan.
• Follow all health & safety guidelines and report concerns to the Field Care Supervisor.

Skills and Experience

• Experienced in assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming while preserving dignity and privacy.
• Trained in safe use of hoists, mobility aids, and transfer techniques.
• Knowledgeable in medication administration, care planning, and record-keeping.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and relationship-building skills.
• Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and accurate documentation at all times.
