Domiciliary Care Worker

Location: Bracknell, Bracknell Forest
Salary: £12.75 – £13.10 per hour + Pension scheme
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time, Permanent

We are looking for passionate and caring healthcare assistants to join our enthusiastic team of domiciliary carers. You must be eager to grow and develop both personally and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to clients with a wide range of needs, illnesses, and disabilities.
  • Assist clients with toileting, continence management, and personal hygiene.
  • Support clients in getting up in the morning and going to bed at night.
  • Assist with medication as outlined in the client’s Medication Care Needs Assessment.
  • Maintain accurate records concerning care, medication, and daily support tasks.
  • Prepare meals and beverages while considering dietary and cultural preferences.
  • Carry out light household duties such as cleaning and laundry where required.
  • Follow health and safety procedures and report any concerns to the Field Care Supervisor.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by senior management.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming while preserving dignity.
  • Confident in safely administering medication and following individual care plans.
  • Trained in the use of hoists, mobility aids, and safe moving and handling techniques.
  • Excellent communication and active listening skills with empathy and patience.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
