We are looking for passionate and caring Healthcare Assistants to join our enthusiastic domiciliary care team. You must also be keen to learn, grow, and develop your skills with our full support and training.

Salary & Contract Details

  • Full-Time Contract: 45 hours per week
  • Part-Time Contract: 25 hours per week
  • Hourly Pay: £14.00 – £14.50

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to clients with a range of needs, illnesses, and disabilities.
  • Assist clients with toileting, continence management, and personal hygiene routines.
  • Help clients get up in the morning and go to bed at night safely and comfortably.
  • Assist clients with medication as detailed in their care plans and Medication Needs Assessment.
  • Maintain accurate records of care and medication provided, ensuring compliance with all standards.
  • Prepare food and drinks tailored to clients’ preferences, nutritional needs, and cultural requirements.
  • Carry out light household duties such as cleaning and laundry in line with care plans.
  • Follow all health and safety procedures, promoting safe working practices and raising concerns promptly.
  • Undertake any additional tasks requested by senior management within the scope of the role.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience assisting with personal care while maintaining dignity and respect.
  • Confident in administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
  • Trained in safe use of hoists, mobility aids, and transfer techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an empathetic approach.
  • Ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships with clients and families.
  • Good record-keeping skills and ability to use both written and digital care logs.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and compassionate care delivery.
