We are now recruiting dedicated and caring Domiciliary Care Workers in Ashendon, Buckinghamshire. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and committed to delivering excellent standards of care every day.

Role Overview

The Domiciliary Care Worker will support service users with daily living activities, ensuring their health, comfort, and wellbeing. You will play a vital role in maintaining independence while promoting dignity and respect at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to clients with a range of needs, illnesses, and disabilities.
  • Assist clients with toileting, continence management, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
  • Support clients with morning and bedtime routines.
  • Administer or assist with medication as outlined in care plans and medication assessments.
  • Accurately record all care and medication provided using paper or digital systems.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and drinks according to client preferences and dietary needs.
  • Perform light household duties, such as laundry and cleaning, in line with care plans.
  • Follow health and safety protocols to ensure safe working practices at all times.
  • Report any concerns or changes in client condition promptly to the Field Care Supervisor.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience providing care and support within domiciliary or residential settings (preferred).
  • Skilled in assisting with personal care while maintaining client dignity and privacy.
  • Knowledge of safe manual handling and use of mobility aids (training provided).
  • Confident in recording accurate notes and following established care plans.
  • Empathetic, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
