We are looking for passionate and caring Healthcare Assistants to join our enthusiastic team of domiciliary carers. Salary & Contract Details
- Full-Time Contract: 45 hours per week
- Part-Time Contract: 25 hours per week
- Hourly Pay: £12.75 – £13.10
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to clients with a wide range of needs, illnesses, and disabilities from door to door.
- Assist clients with toileting, continence management, and personal hygiene.
- Help clients get up in the morning and go to bed at night.
- Support clients with medication as detailed in their care assessments.
- Maintain accurate records concerning care and medication support provided.
- Prepare food and drink based on clients’ preferences, nutritional needs, and cultural requirements.
- Perform light household duties such as cleaning and laundry as per the care plan.
- Follow all health & safety regulations and promote safe working practices.
- Carry out any other duties requested by senior management within the scope of the role.
Skills & Experience
- Experience assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming while maintaining dignity and privacy.
- Ability to administer medication safely and follow detailed care plans.
- Knowledge of hoists, mobility aids, and safe transfer techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building trust with clients and families.
- Competence in maintaining accurate care logs and digital record systems.
- Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and maintaining clear boundaries at all times.
