We are looking for passionate and caring Domiciliary Care Workers to join our enthusiastic team in Morpeth. Salary & Contract Details

  • Full-Time Contract: 45 hours per week
  • Part-Time Contract: 25 hours per week
  • Hourly Pay: £12.75 – £13.30

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to clients with a variety of needs, illnesses, and disabilities.
  • Assist clients with toileting, continence management, and personal hygiene.
  • Help clients get up in the morning and prepare for bed at night.
  • Administer or support with medication as agreed and outlined in individual care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records regarding care and medication support.
  • Prepare food and drinks based on clients’ preferences, nutritional requirements, and cultural needs.
  • Undertake light household duties such as cleaning and laundry in line with care plans.
  • Follow health and safety rules and promote wellbeing for yourself and others, reporting any concerns promptly.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by senior management.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming while maintaining client dignity and privacy.
  • Knowledge and experience of safe medication administration and monitoring health conditions.
  • Training in safe use of hoists, mobility aids, and transfer techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an empathetic and respectful approach.
  • Ability to build trust with clients and families through reliability and care excellence.
  • Competence in maintaining detailed care logs or digital record systems while ensuring confidentiality.
