We are currently seeking Domiciliary Care Workers to join our dedicated and friendly team in Pegswood. Salary & Contract Details

  • Full-Time Contract: 45 hours per week
  • Part-Time Contract: 25 hours per week
  • Hourly Pay: £12.75 – £13.30

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to clients with a range of needs, illnesses, and disabilities.
  • Assist clients with toileting, continence management, and personal hygiene while maintaining dignity and respect.
  • Support clients in their morning and bedtime routines.
  • Administer medication safely in line with care plans and company procedures.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of care and medication provided.
  • Prepare meals and drinks according to clients’ preferences, dietary, and cultural needs.
  • Carry out light household duties such as cleaning and laundry when required.
  • Ensure all health and safety standards are met and report any concerns promptly.
  • Perform any additional duties as reasonably requested by management.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience providing personal care while maintaining privacy and dignity.
  • Ability to administer medication and monitor clients’ wellbeing.
  • Training in safe use of hoists, mobility aids, and moving/handling techniques (preferred but not essential).
  • Empathetic communication and ability to build positive relationships with clients and families.
  • Good record-keeping and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and delivering high-quality care.
