We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic Finance team. If you have an eye for detail, love numbers, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Process, review, and verify a high volume of invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
- Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain vendor relationships.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions, including weekly payment runs.
- Assist with month-end close activities and provide audit support as needed.
- Maintain and organize financial documentation in line with accounting standards and company policy.
- Review and enter vendor information and expenses into the ERP system accurately.
- Support preparation of reports, journal entries, and reconciliations for the Finance Director.
- Respond promptly and professionally to internal and external accounts payable queries.
- Ensure W-9 documentation and 1099 compliance with current tax regulations.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Payroll, and Audit teams to support business operations.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accounts payable or finance position.
- Strong knowledge of accounting procedures and ERP/accounting software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
