Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 per annum + Pension scheme

The Registered Care Manager Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Care Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of care services, manage a team of care staff, and ensure our clients receive the highest standard of care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in care management, excellent leadership skills, and a deep commitment to person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of care services, ensuring person-centred, high-quality care.
- Manage, support, and mentor care staff including scheduling, reviews, and training.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans with clients, families, and professionals.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews of care plans to reflect clients’ changing needs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and CQC requirements.
- Handle client enquiries, concerns, and complaints efficiently and empathetically.
- Monitor and manage budgets for care services, ensuring cost-effective delivery.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records including care plans, schedules, and reports.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, staff, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Care Manager or similar role in health or social care.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong understanding of care regulations, standards, and best practice.
- Excellent leadership and team-management skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities with a compassionate approach.
- Ability to develop and deliver tailored care plans.
- Experience managing budgets, resources, and scheduling systems.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Experience with CQC inspections and compliance (desirable).
