That’s why Verity Healthcare nursing team offer bespoke clinical care to support many individuals to manage complex conditions and live contentedly at home.
We’re working with 25 NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups across the UK, and a network of case managers and advocates to provide effective, responsive and flexible healthcare solutions that deliver maximum choice, independence and the chance to live life to the full.
We’ve employed a strong team of nurses with many years of experiences in adult and paediatric nursing to provide essential nursing care services. Our nurses receive regular supervisions and ongoing training to ensure you’re receiving the highest quality of care. We’ve conducted background checks on all nurses and healthcare assistants to ensure that all our staff have the expertise to provide you appropriate nursing care.
Our Head of Nursing and team of registered and fit-to-operate registered nurses possess profound knowledge and expertise in nursing care and huge experience in providing nursing care in the community. Our nurses are qualified and skilled at using a wide range of medical equipment to support our clients to manage their conditions and maintain the lifestyles they choose.

We’ve always taken a holistic approach to ensure that our services are regulated so that our clients receive nursing care that is fully focused on their health needs.
Our expert team of nurses conduct face to face assessments in order to understand the clinical needs and social requirements of each client. This way, we’re able to implement a bespoke nursing care and lifestyle plan, that doesn’t just focus on current health and social conditions of the client, but any changes expected in the future too.
The nursing care initial assessment is intended to guarantee a level of transparency, clinical risk evaluation, and provide the basis for further training where necessary to help to meet the specific needs of each client. This assessment enables the nursing team to plan for post discharge rehabilitation plans, nutrition and physiotherapy. In addition, the nursing team are able to assess whether any additional mobility aids or adaptations are required for our client’s home and liaise with social services for supplies and fitting.
Our team of clinicians undertake full mandatory, statutory and specialist training and ongoing support so that they can provide effective nursing care. We adopt person-centred approach to providing nurse-led clinical expertise, where fully trained health care assistants provide complex care services under the supervision of a qualified nurse.
We’re focused on identifying and meeting the individual needs of each client by providing 24-hr live-in care or short visits for multiple times a day from a team of nurses or healthcare assistants.

Types of nursing care we offer…
Verity Healthcare is a leading provider of nursing and nurse-led care. Our nursing team is made up of registered nurses with the Royal College of Nursing who are have many years’ experience of providing adult (general) and paediatric (children) nursing. The nurses have different specialism and so we offer different types of nursing care such as:
- Palliative (end of life) – providing continuing care for patients
- Post-surgical / Rehabilitation – supporting patients to regain health and skills for daily living
- Oncology or Cancer – the oncology nurses help to manage chemo – and radiotherapy
- Parkinson’s disease – providing nursing care to manage impact of muscle degeneration
- Motor-neurone disease – the motor-neurone nurses provide support for various neurological conditions
- Stroke – the stroke nurse helps with rehabilitation and recovery from impact of stroke
- Diabetes – the nurse manage diabetic episodes by insulin injectionsand blood sugar monitoring.
- Continence – the nurse ensure that patients are supplied with appropriate continent resources.

Case Study
Lillian, 13-year old girl has complex medical and nursing needs because of an undiagnosed neurological condition which has resulted in epilepsy, recurrent chest infections, central apnoea’s, breathing difficulties, developmental delay, neuro-muscular scoliosis, the need for enteral feeding by gastrostomy tube, communication and mobility problems. Before her condition deteriorated this year and she has had respite with a another provider. Her family contacted Verity Healthcare through a local NHS Clinical Commissioning Group and Continuing Healthcare team to provide nursing care in her home, the place she loved to be.
We worked with the family and chose a team of healthcare assistant under nurse supervision and implemented an advanced nursing care plan with input from the community nursing team. Lilian has received exceptional support and this means that the complex care nursing team no longer attends. Lillian is now able to play with her baby sister, something Lillian had always wanted
