Parkinson’s disease is a long-term degenerative disorder that progressively affects parts of the brain and lead to life-changing condition. The symptoms of Parkinson’s disease include tremors, sstiffness and inflexibility of muscles that results in slow movement as well as depression and anxiety. Parkinson’s disease may also result in insomnia, memory loss and problems with maintaining balance.
Our nursing-led team work in collaboration with occupational therapist and physiotherapist to provide the best personalised and bespoke care patients with Parkinson’s disease. Our care services are based on the principle that being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease should not mark the end of a person’s life. Certainly, it doesn’t mean that you or your loved one should move into a residential care home. It is well known that home-based nursing led care for people with Parkinson’s care enables them to maintain healthy conditions in the familiar surroundings. That’s why our nurses and care workers have been trained to provide as much assistance as possible to meet the needs pf persons with Parkinson’s disease and to help them remain independent at home.
