Managing direct payments can give you greater control over your care, but it also comes with important responsibilities—especially when employing personal assistants. At Verity Healthcare, we provide a comprehensive Direct Payment Payroll Service designed to remove the stress, reduce administrative burden, and ensure full compliance with UK employment and tax regulations.

Whether you are new to direct payments or already managing a care team, our dedicated payroll specialists are here to support you every step of the way.

Safe, personalised PEG feeding and tube care delivered in the comfort of your own home.

What is PEG gastrostomy care?

Short explanatory section for visitors who may be unfamiliar with PEG feeding.

PEG stands for Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy.

A PEG tube provides direct access to the stomach for prescribed nutrition, fluids and, where clinically authorised, medication. It may be used when eating or drinking by mouth is unsafe or insufficient.

Verity Healthcare can support day-to-day PEG care at home in line with the person’s care plan, clinical instructions and assessed needs.

Our approach

Every package starts with an individual assessment before PEG support begins.

Feeding regime

Bolus, continuous or pump-assisted support as prescribed.

Hydration

Prescribed water flushes and fluid support.

Tube care

Routine cleaning, observation, connection and flushing.

Skin & stoma

Hygiene, observation and prompt escalation of concerns.

Medication

Support only where authorised and within staff competence.

Daily living

PEG care combined with personal care and everyday routines.

What our PEG care can include

Use six icon-led service cards on the live website.

01 PEG feeding

02 Tube management

Routine connection, disconnection, flushing and observation in line with the care plan.

03 Stoma care

Keeping the area clean and dry and reporting redness, swelling, leakage, pain or discharge.

04 Medication support

Administration or assistance only where the route is clinically authorised and documented.

05 Personal care

Washing, dressing, continence, mobility, positioning and other agreed daily-living support.

06 Companionship

PEG care should fit around the person’s life.

Where safe and appropriate, we encourage people to participate in their own care and maintain their usual routines, interests and relationships.

Safe PEG care

This section should build trust without overwhelming visitors with clinical detail.
